They saw that many pigs were died. There is a chance of dying their cattles also. Another thing, they thought that Jesus healed the demon-possessed person through ruler of the demon. They feared that Jesus has demon in Him. We had already studied the same questions from the scribes in Mark Chapter-3. Hence the people requested Jesus to leave their region after they heard about the pigs.

Faith Vs Fear The disciple`s fear before the storm was the fear for their life. Eventhough Jesus had with them in the boat, they were afraid and woke up Jesus, who was sleeping in the boat. This shows that, the disciples had no enough faith in Jesus, who is the creator of sea and wind also. Their fear after the storm, in the bible it says that they were greatly afraid, which arose by seeing Jesus` power and authority over the wind and sea. Their faith in Jesus increased, after this incidence. If we have fear, the faith will not work.

The parable of the Mustard Seed Mustard seed is smaller than all the seeds that are on the earth. At the same time, when it grow up, it will become greater than all the trees. The word of God is given by Jesus to a few people in the beginning. They were the disciples of Jesus. Now this word of God has spread all over the world like a big tree. The small seed here mention is about the word of God, and the huge bush is the group of people who are carrying the word of God ie. His disciples. In this passage it says that the birds of the sky can lodge under its shadow. Now many people can get peace and deliverance from the word of God and through the people of God.
