How might you have felt seeing Jesus after knowing he had died?

Although it will be pleasant suprise for me, yet I would be somewhat perplexed.

Jesus took careful time to explain all things about his death and resurrection. Does this give you confidence in his words and promises, knowing he and others had predicted his death and resurrection? "Beginning from Moses and from all the prophets, he explained to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself."

Yes, I truly believe and have confidence in the words of Jesus.

Why were fulfillment of prophecies important? "note: Jesus predicted his death and resurrection? "...saying that the Son of Man must be delivered up into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again...". There are also many accounts in the old testament describing the death and resurrection of the Messiah hundreds to thousands of years before the event.

Fulfillment of the prophecies were important for keeping the mankind hoping for eternal llife and to have faith in the power of God.
