Why did Jesus heal by touching the man with leprosy (a contageous disease)? JESUS healed the man with leprosy by touching him because it was meant to be a "Testimony" to the verifying priests, causing them to recognize that THE MESSIAH was among them (Israel). In addition, according to Leviticus 14, the priests had to verify a leper healing. Curing a leper was considered very. difficult

Why didn`t Jesus spend more time healing people? JESUS didn't spend more time healing people, because HE must "PREACH" the good news of the Kingdom of GOD to the other cities. For it was for that reason HE'VE been sent to do.
