The book of Mark taught us from the preparation of the coming of THE MESIAH by John the Baptist to the Crucifixion and Resurrection of JESUS. It also tells us that it ends on a note of fear and lacks a clear Resurrection account. Verse 16:16 tells us that Only Faith, not Baptism is essential for salvation. However, one should be a believer and not a doubter. CHRIST ACCENDS TO GLORY.

What would have been your response if you had seen Jesus killed and then alive again? What would cause others to respond differently? Lack of faith can cause others to react differently.

Why did Jesus cry out, "My God, My God, why have You forsaken me?" Note: This is a direct quote from the Jewish Scripture, Psalm 22:1. JESUS cried out, MY GOD, MY GOD, why have you forsaken me, because HE felt that GOD has abandon HIM in the midst of HIS enemies, and the condemnation of the crowd, bearing GOD'S wrath for sin. HIS agony does not overcome HIS faith.
