How does Jesus want to care for the people of Jerusalem (Israel), and how do they respond?

JESUS clearly shows tenderness for GOD'S ancient chosen nation of which HE is a member. HIS recollection of their past sins does not lead HIM to spiteful accusation, but rather to a heartfelt lament. HE cared for the people of Jerusalem (Israel) as stated in Luke 13:34. Although the Pharisees wanted HIM to leave because of the danger (threats from Herod).

Jesus answers that to be saved, it is not enough for the person to know the Lord, rather the Lord needs to know the person. What does this mean?

THE LORD needs to know the person means that we should entirely devote ourselves to THE KINGDOM OF GOD, by praying, fasting, doing the right things and to honor GOD'S COMMANDMENTS, and be BORN AGAIN OF WATER AND THE SPIRIT.

Jesus small beginnings grew to have a major effect. What seemingly small things in your life can grow over time to have a big effect?

Although GOD'S work in JESUS currently is very small apparently insignificant, making visible headway, HIS kingdom will grow eventually world wide and have global impact. In addition, The Kingdom of GOD is the spiritual form of the kingdom in the church. Leavened is virtually always used as a symbol of evil. Matt.16:6-12; Mark 8:15. The Leaven is not Just false profession of unsaved Church members, but false doctrine that they will attemt to bring into the Church. Learning to pray and to forgive in my life can have a big effect to others, in JESUS NAME.
