What is "the Christ"? How is it different than one of the prophets?

He is the truly presnet in flesh and blood ready to be annointed for the real sacrifice on the real cross on the real calvary. He is there...really present the one who will freely accept to follow till the end what his Father had promised across the centuries to the ones all the ones he has already accepted as brothers and sisters, he is about to offer rdemption via the cross. Offered to all. Not everyone did and does accept.Which leaves to 'many'. And like the guests at the banquet not everyone is invited but a chosen few. Although they did refuse and the doors wehre opened to everyone derelict in the streets and many came called by the servanyt, still we are talking about numerous, but not all hence many.

Jesus was commited to sacrifice his own life. What did he mean by the statement, "For who ever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel will save it"?

Jesus is talking about life earthly life with all the values and valuing we attcah to it, and our attachment to it, and Life eternal the room he is preparing in Heaven for us, his brother and sisters in the Eternal House of the Father. In the Bible it is written in both cases in low cases, but we can imagine Jesus saying 'life' looking down on earh and Life risding his eyes heavenlies, with a gentle wink? He calls to be followed faithfully all the way to heaven and this also means, as he says here physicalo suffering, before we can be assumed in Heaven like the good repentant thief. Through our bodily suffering via his to haeven. Each with his or her cross which could even be as the painful death suffered by the martyrs of the time or ebven nowadays martyris giving their eartli lives to Jesus in countries where he is faced with hostility and helping those who follow him depsite the even violent repressions. 2008 years later.

What was Jesus trying to teach the disciples? Note: Jesus left twelve baskets full when he fed the 5000 people on the Israel side (Israel had 12 main regions or tribes).

Herod's, politics the earthly kingdom centered around a self fullfilling tyranny, and the Pharesisees, legalistic selfrigtheousness are bad yeast. now when you make bread, i read, you need some dough already levened to be mixed to the one which is new. Kneading the new with the old the already risen one. Reference to the crucifixion and the resurrrection. How will they feed the increasingly numerous flock? by parsing that one loaf (love of Jesus self sacrificing resurrecting into the Bread and Wine) and multiplying by mixing the already risen to the new that has to be vivified. With the true renewing refreshing Word of the NT Jesus the Word made flesh that vivifies the OT word make it rise to full meaning. Distribute make it in as many particles you can so that each is fed. Count your resources and count the number of needy ones and be your mathematics imbued with a wise just equally distributing heart. Even in an atom Jesus would be fully present.
