Why was it evil for the scribes and Pharisees to ask a sign from Jesus?

You shall not tempt God thy Lord. It is one of the Commandments not those ten but one of the major ones. They should have known their Scriptures better and have had good enough lenses to recognise that Jesus was the son of the Lord.

What did the Pharisees say against the Holy Spirit and why was it such a serious offense?

They should have known that the Lord so His Son is the Lord also of the demons that they respect His authority and they should have seen that the obedient recoiling of the demons were the sign of that. Seems a gross error on their part. But i could be wrong. Think it says that in the Bible though somewhere and that had been handed down in oral tradition before being wriiten down by Holy Mother Church. Please anyone who knwos help me :o

Why didn`t Jesus want those He healed to make Him known?

He comes the Savior clothed in humbleness as the prophet Isaiah announced. None if a true disciple has to shout out in the streets, but follow in his steps. There is a miracle that will reach inevitably everyone's ears also through the humble and yet forceful words of the disciples sent to bring that mercy and healing and hope to so many corners of the world. Jesus is preparing the ground through the miracles so to say in smaller fields so that then the wind of the Holy Spirit can disseminate the seed of hope and belief via the chosen sowers and their successors. The apostles...all of them across the times. Jesus breathes that spirit in them.
