1014 entries for this category: Why was Jesus so willing, even eager, to heal the leper? True human love truly desireing to call the power of His Almighty Ftaher to heal the suffering men. Tells us something about the strenght of our paryesr and the strenght of our love in committing the ones - all brothers in Christ actually or potentially or just in our hopes-we love in the hands of the Father. Its like the ones who brought their freind lowering him from the roof. Love breaks all barriers. not that God would not want to heal anyone of course. But the lepers were the outcasts the untouchables like the sinners were the lepers for the Pharisees. Unworthy of God' s loving healing touch. Touched in his humanity Jesus touches him with his humanity stretching out his own hand.

How can you recognize whether you are entering through the narrow gate or are on the broad way? Its a tight gap in your heart a tough heart gripping decision that propels your most heartfelt half expressed prayers and then bum something happens a little something that opens a huge gate on Heaven on earth..like once i was praying in a church in santo stefano in Pane kneeling in front of the image of Our Lady and Child and a lady who was arranging the church placed a small candle right in front of me...then as you move to the pews you see taht the icon style crucifix is projecting a particular shadow you knwo like those cut out rows of figures children can make with only one piec of paper... two holding each other hands on a side and Jesus stretched out on the cross hand on the other...and you think thats the answer to my prayesr...
