What is in the heart of the tax collector (rejected by society) that the Pharasee (religious leader) seems to lack? Contrition of a humble heart and soul aware of the failures to the Commandments of God who is being aknowledged and now obeyed. Weeping at the door of Heaven, the confessional narrow door so to say, vs the pharisees shouting demanding it to be opened. The tax collector does not even dare asking to be let in but appealas to God Whom he feels inside. And in Whose Charity he now faithfully hopes.
