EVEN IF WE SAY THAT WE ARE CONVERTED SINNERS, WE DON'T KNOW WHETHER WE ARE TRUELY CONVERTED OR NOT. How would Jesus explain his statement that "The Kingdom of God is within you?" If you did not have me inside you, you would not be looking for me...Jesus is inside our cleansed hearts and by conforming to him we build, in relating to otehsr conformed to him the new Jerusalem. Through the sacraments and all the means the Catholic Church gives us or if not with our striving for justice for truth for God all that is good. Applying and living his teachings. And really Jesus is with us all the time like when he went in disguise to the feast. He is watching us all the time staeling around like a thief. Hidden in all thsoe who need us and in whom we can see him. When did i clothe you or feed you...imo :). A guide Thomas? What does Jesus try to teach his disciples by going with them through the storm? Not to be too inwardlooking and open the eyse always trusting in Gods presence. Onw word and Jesu will calm the storms. Just call on him. But the call has to come from us. Not to do like Abraham but look up and then we shall see the Loving Shepard with his hand ready stretched out. Ready to pick us up and carry us on his shoulders when we are too weak:)
