What made Peter so afraid to be identified with Jesus? Why are many people today still afraid to identify with Jesus?
He really lost it. The third time... Then he began to curse and to swear... Panic and pain and anger and needing to rethink the future. Jesus the Son of God captured? destined to the cross? what will happen to them? how can they win? he needed to think of Jesus mission and fully make it his own after the panic and deep pain. And come fully to life by fully living it.Only in his Light your own life takes full meaning :''

Amazing 2
Went to evening Mass and Don Alfonso had a gospel choir as guest performers for the musical enrichment of the liturgy. Amazing what? Amazing Grace the hymn they sang during the Eucharist...nearly in tears as, only three people ahead of me and my husband, the solo singer stepped on for the `Our lord...my Jesus...`. Thought i would haev not made it to my turn. Faint? But I didn`t. When back on the pew, arrived when the first hymn had started '':o'' were blessed with sittin on the pew right under the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Area then filling, when kneeling as we took the Body and Blood and Divinity of Christ, with a group of 15 or 16 years old on a school trip. A bit of a distraction in a way but...better late then never :'' ''a Christian revival?'' todays gospel being on the Confession and God`s forgiveness. The woman how she had in her heart, Fr said, a tiny corner secretely hidden and tenaciously protected of purity, awaiting for the Savior. Who gave her, Fr`s words, a new heart the heart of a child with which once loved first she could love for the first time ''having been used and objectified till then''. The Bidding prayers...these words stayed in the heart...`the dynamics of salvation` poraying that we can get nmercy to circulate. And a last note. First a group ogf girls standing and curiosly watching. Then a boy literally spellbound glued to the scaffoldings behind which he was avidly taking it all in...till a girl, a close friend i guesss, snatched him out of this `real life dream` ...a new vocation? :'' Oh yes last piece; When the Saints go marching in...just a light clapping ''could not resist :o''.

Amazing
Amazing indeed that the recognition of the savior is made possible thanks to the donkey. I mean think of all the devout Jews awaiting for the sign prophesised by Isahia: a donkey. For centuries that is what stayed rooted in the collective memory of a people. The donkey being such an everyday animal so common and familiar. His humble hardworking gait remaining powerfully in their souls. What a `teacher` Our Lord chose to bring His Message, the Word Incarnate. ''Brings to mind another donkey in the OT the one beated up and spurred on the narrow road...and now what an honor for the humble animal `clothed` for the ceremonial entry by Jesus needed by the Lord''. Saint Therese de Lisieux come to mind as well as Saint Francis....Happy Father Day to everyone :''
