How is it that the Christ is descended from David, and yet David still calls Him Lord? As God Christ is Lord and so eternal. God made human born at a very specific time born of that point in the descending line. David...one thinks of his past sins and his repentance so the reference to someone, but he stands for all of us, who needs the redeeming arrival of Jesus. Lord Lord...also Thomas come to mind. Resurrected in the flesh as he could touch. Words reechoing and reinfiorcin the remembering of the Body and Blood of Christ which will save us. Generated by the Holy Spirit in that relationship between the Fatehr and the Dson flowing into his humanity and so in us too.
