How is the teaching of the Pharisees and Saducees like yeast?

It`s a wrong yeast that kills life that does not bring out the full and real menaing of the taeching but blinds. The dough cannot rise. The unleavened kind of bread comes to mind...it`s flat cause the Law of Love, the loving application of the Law has not vivified it. And it`s not bread we are talking about but him the Bread of life and us our divine souls that need that Yeast and that bread ...when you make bread i think you mix some risen ''Jesus'' to the unrisen dough ''us humans''.

Why do Jesus`s enemies keep demanding a sign? Why doesn`t Jesus do a miracle for them?

Because they are too blinded to undersatnd. Blinded by their pride and lack maybe unwillingnessto believe. They should have learnt one vital lesson already: you shall not tempt the Lord. It`s an abridgement of the second Commandment. You are far from honoring Him, if you place yousrelf above Him negotiating with Him.

Why did Jesus repeat this miracle, here feeding the 4000, after previously feeding the 5000?

Maybe what matters is that that miracle can be repeated anytime no matter hoe few loaves. They number amounts to 9000 and then it grows if you think of all the conversions mentioned in the Letters to the Philippians etc and all the ones that will follow in history. No matter the number of those present in the congragation, Jesus will feed them all throught the centuries with one loaf: his Body.
