1014 entries for this category: Why does Jesus keep telling the disciples that He is about to die? The seed must die to produce good fruit. Spiritual ones that shall last forever. Dying in the flesh as humans so that our divine nature tha God gifted us with can bloom into life. Maybe the disciples thought that as he was the Son of God he was eternal which would have made him not human but `only` divine. And the suffering on the cross...the spiritual flowers would have not been so shiny. How could we have learnt that it is the Blood of his and so ours too is what nourishes the otehrwise dry withered tree of our eratly lives and through those thorns the roses of eternal life will bloom?

In what ways did Jesus serve when He was on earth? In what ways is He still serving now? Nurturing us with his sacrifice and His Word - the first giving us strenght and the second - it is the Water with which we can help grow the seeds our actions fruits of a pure soul a healthy fif tree. That childhood song comes to mind...per fare l`albero ci vuole il frutto per fare il frutto ci vuole l`albero per fare l`albero ci vuole il seme per fare il seme ci vuole il frutto. In essence to make the tree you need the seed to make the seed you need the fruit to make the fruit you need the seed and to make the seed you need the tree etc etc...

Jesus asked the blind man what they wanted Him to do. What do you want Jesus to do for you? Thinking that in the arrival of Jesus on the donkey, the donkey is refreed to as a her. In Latin the word anima is feminine. I dont know in Greek or aramaic. What i`d ask? to keep my soul always veiled in humbleness. That is the key that leads to the opening of the eyes of the soul. Like for the blind man.
