What made the woman`s faith so powerful? How does one obtain faith like the woman?

My daughter has just died, but come and lay your hand on her, and she will live. If I just touch his garment, I will be made well. Has Jesus spoken to them like he will to the disciples through the Transfiguration? and they did not understand. Death taht can be won. She blindly believes that. the other woman simply says if i touch his garments not him the Holy Spirit - i will be healed. The otehr woman not me but my daughter will be healed. Like the blind man calling out in recognition feeling that the Holy Spirit in the human matter of Jesus was passing in front of him.

How is Jesus` teaching like fresh wine requiring fresh wineskins?

We need to prepare ourselve sto hold the Word not to spill it and so we need fasting self control of our fleshy impulses to toughen up our skins and be not only worthy but also more efficient conatiners of the Wine of Life. For the sake of our own health.

Why did Jesus choose Matthew, a known taxgatherer and a despised man, to be His disciple?

its` a sign of Hope and Love. Not only Jesus came to heal all the sick, however serious the sikness is - and which truly committed doctor would deny healing? - but the sick one cannot only gain health but also become a bringer of that health to others.
