Why did God choose such a unique way (through a virgin birth) to bring Jesus into the world?

Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son. They shall call his name Immanuel; which is, being interpreted, God with us. Its a miracle isnt`it? God is with anyone who welcomes the Lord and says yes to his will and the the Lord is with them whatever. Whatever happens and we must always trust the Lord also and especially when our senses their perceptions seem to point us in a direction of dismay and disbelief. How is it possible scientifically humanly they would have said then conceiving a child without sexual intercourse? but the Lord is all powerful. We are limited. God`s love knows no barriers and flows through the Trinity and through us when we take that Trinity in. Nothing is impossible with the Lord. We only have to say our full yes and He will be with us. Search fror him but we wouldn`t if he wasnt in us already.

Why was all of Jerusalem troubled about the birth of Jesus?

They said to him, In Bethlehem of Judea, for thus it is written through the prophet, `You Bethlehem, land of Judah, are in no way least among the princes of Judah: for out of you shall come forth a governor, who shall shepherd my people, Israel.` They blindly follow Herod the powerful king and don`t understand that the shepard is a spiritual leader that will lead them to a spiritual kingdom. They hope to be given earthly freedom and not the one from sin. And they follow the pharisees the scribes their authorities. Maybe they havent traesured enough the words of the OT to recognise the Saviour. But the wise men have and they too listen to the angel and dont trust Herod`s false words. An evidently not so fragile 14 years old mother ''and an elderly man'' who has just delivered a baby in a poor manger and a tiny baby give them an overpowering sense of the presence of the Lord that leaves them with no doubt that Herod must not be listened to. Its a different power that makes them faithful to the Lord and not like the rest of Jerusalem to the apparently allpowerful Herod`s army etc array.

Why did Herod try to kill Jesus?

Because he mistakenly thought that His was an eartly kingdom aiming at overturning him from his position of power. Also i notice now his anger frustration that two simple people like Joseph and Mary and the tiny baby could have escaped his powerful army. There is also spite and hatred in killing the innocents like he was exacting a revenge on every single one for having missed his real target. Amen for all the souls of the little ones.
