Jesus explicitly refers to the coin - earthly riches - those he does not deny. Earthly power has a right on those. Is it a way of reminding us of the heavenly treasures that we are to inherit and store when following in the path He lovingly set for us? by sticking to His Commandments? It`s a call to not get too attached to earthly goods and if necessary to take up our crown of thorns like Jesus did and walk with him to the Marriage Feast. With faith and courage and hope. Our treasures are Treasures when spent for God. We must fight for all that is sacred - earthly goods are nothing compared to the sanctity of any relationship truly and charitably lived in Christ, with Christ and for Christ. :''

Ascension and Advent The two movements of the Holy Spirit descending on us - going up to Heaven again. The Son and the Father. The all powerful becoming the tiny powerless baby as he was first born fleeing way with Joseph and Mary his eartly parents. Them defending him. Then back into Heaven. All the Strenght tahe made him go through the various pesrecutions and the mockery etc till the crucifixion. I don`t know really - different flashes that come to the mind. Testing Faith again They want him to deny that. If he did he would prove to be selfish and disobedient. He is facing all of this for us to cleanse us from our sins and to put our Faith to test. Gives us the opportunity to partake of that salvation. Do you aknowledge me/the Father? And it works on them. They seem to aknowledge him but carry on in the persecution. We don`t know how many of them. Pilate was about to save him but the crowd condemned him. They denyed the elders too but most of all Jesus. The point is not I know that i am but do YOU/WE know that He is? that`s the key to the gate that he is always offering us.
