To pay penalty for sin he had to go through by himself what man(Adam) failed. That is why he had to go through separation from His father-God. As Jesus resurected and eventually ascended into heaven, He was able to send us the second Paraclete. (as He was actually the first for us).Created on His likeness, now with the Holy Spirit (after being baptised) we are duty bound to evangalise on His behalf and as He did when He was here on earth fulfil the word of God by revealing the Fatherly love to humanity.

Why did Jesus choose Matthew, a known taxgatherer and a despised man, to be His disciple? Matthew immediately followed Jesus and other tax collectors followed Matthew.Jesus could read the spirit and thaughts of others.He could also read the thaughts of the Pharisees and also knew that they say one thing and do others.
