Why did Jesus? penalty for sin need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God? Jesus wanted us to know that we are not alone in our own emotional and physical pain. He wanted to take on our pain completly so that we know the crosses we have to bear in life we don`t have to carry alone.he is willing to take our burdens upon himself all we have to do is repent life the thief on the cross. Jesus told him that because of his faith he would be in paradise with Jesus even though he had lived a life of sinfullness. It is never too late to repent.jesus is always there waiting for us to let Hm in to our hearts.
