1325 entries for this category: How valueable are the lowly? Jesus believes the lowly are extremely valueable. It`s crucial that they`re befriended and extended the love and grace of Christ just as we`ve received. Why are they so important? Well, they are the unloved, hardened, hurt, scared, mistreated, hopeless and I think it`s because they really NEED a saviour and know it, and Jesus Christ is it - the only one - the way and the truth and the life! Sure the rich and middle classes need saving too but they are harder to convince - `stuff`, busy lives and a multitude of other gods get in the way.

According to Jesus, what does it mean to be loved by God? To be loved by God a believer must fulfil certain requirements. He must keep God`s Word and keep his temple holy. The believer must live by and keep the ten commandments. The believer will hear and obey the voice of God ''Holy Spirit''. To be loved by God requires that the believer keeps these rules. Jesus suffered all of mankinds sins, took on board all curses that those who believe can be accepted by His Father and so be loved by Him. A believer must practice his faith that the Holy Spirit will live in Him so that he will bear fruit. This believers rewards are eternal life. The non practising believer will be thrown out into the fire. God is love but He also has standards that a believer must keep in order to be loved. Fortunately Jesus forgives as we forgive.

Lowly People Christ loves the lowly, those who need His healing and those who seek Him. For those who follow Him `lowly` must become the Way of Life` for in Truth Jesus came as our Servant King.
For myself I too often lack the humility to be lowly so that I may help and serve others that they may see/know the Christ in me.
