耶稣对他们说，我实实在在地告诉你们，子凭着自己不能作什么，惟有看见父所作的，子才能作。父所作的事，子也照样作。 ( 约翰 5:19)

因为我从天上降下来，不是要按自己的意思行，乃是要按那差我来者的意思行。 ( 约翰 6:38)

耶稣说，我的教训不是我自己的，乃是那差我来者的。 ( 约翰 7:16)

所以耶稣说，你们举起人子以后，必知道我是基督，并且知道我没有一件事，是凭着自己作的。我说这些话，乃是照着父所教训我的。 那差我来的，是与我同在。他没有撇下我独自在这里，因为我常作他所喜悦的事。 ( 约翰 8:28-29)

因为我没有凭着自己讲。惟有差我来的父，已经给我命令，叫我说什么，讲什么。 我也知道他的命令就是永生。故此我所讲的话，正是照着父对我所说的。 ( 约翰 12:49-50)

"For I have not spoken on my own authority; the Father who sent me has himself given me commandment what to say and what to speak. And I know that his commandment is eternal life. What I say, therefore, I say as the Father has bidden me." ( John 12:49-50)
