路加所著的耶稣传记——治好盲人乞丐 耶稣将近耶利哥的时候，有一个瞎子坐在路旁讨饭。 (18:35) 听见许多人经过，就问是什么事。 (18:36) 他们告诉他，是拿撒勒人耶稣经过。 (18:37) 他就呼叫说，大卫的子孙耶稣阿，可怜我吧。 (18:38) 在前头走的人，就责备他，不许他作声。他却越发喊叫说，大卫的子孙，可怜我吧。 (18:39) 耶稣站住，吩咐把他领过来。到了跟前，就问他说， (18:40) 你要我为你作什么。他说，主阿，我要能看见。 (18:41) 耶稣说，你可以看见。你的信救了你了。 (18:42) 瞎子立刻看见了，就跟随耶稣，一路归荣耀与神。众人看见这事，也赞美神。 (18:43) 路加 18:35-43

A Blind Beggar Receives His Sight
It happened, as he came near Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the road, begging. Hearing a multitude going by, he asked what this meant. They told him that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by. He cried out, "Jesus, you son of David, have mercy on me!" Those who led the way rebuked him, that he should be quiet; but he cried out all the more, "You son of David, have mercy on me!" Standing still, Jesus commanded him to be brought to him. When he had come near, he asked him, "What do you want me to do?" He said, "Lord, that I may see again." Jesus said to him, "Receive your sight. Your faith has healed you." Immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God. All the people, when they saw it, praised God. Luke 18:35-43
