Jesus walks on Water

Jesus walked on water to prove to his disciples and people to prove to them that He is truly the One to believe in and to cherish. We all need to celebrate Jesus in our daily lives!!!!! Praise God, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost. Amen!!!!!

The Jesus Central site is the best site by far for reading about, learning about, and is by far the best siteI've ever had the pleasure to visit in a long time!!!! Everyone needs to believe and celebrate His dreams, and we should all wish for His Harvest to return!!!! Amen!!

What lessons did the disciples learn as a result of encountering Jesus in the middle of the lake?

The disciples of Jesus learnt that Jesus is not just an ordinary man, that he is Godhimself, that he has power over everything, that even the storm can obey him. When he rebuke it.

Jesus walked on water to show the multitudes that believing in Him would allow Him to perform tremendous miracles for everyone. He is I AM. The same name God told Moses when Moses was on Mount Sinai. I believe in miracles, God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit! Amen!!!!

Not to fear and being willing to receive Him in their hearts. That is all it takes is trust that He is who He says He is and to open our hearts to Him.

We learn that we should have faith in Jesus. Regardless of how difficult our lives are or in whatever situation we are to trust in the Lord and everything will be alright. We should not be afraid.

Everyone`s looking for the bodily Jesus and still is not able to experience his spiritual presence. It`s dark and they are all afraid. The disciples think he is on the sea banks and the people that he is in the lake and so they call him and look for him. But Jesus is with both of them and that cataclismatic wind is it the wind of the Holy Spirit? has he already told them that they should not be afraid of the signs of the end of the world but to trust he is with him? if he hasn`t this maybe is done to prepare them emotionally - it`s a powerful event that must have remained strongly impressed in their hearts.

Jesus Walks on the Water

When evening came, his disciples went down to the sea, and they entered into the boat, and were going over the sea to Capernaum. It was now dark, and Jesus had not come to them. The sea was tossed by a great wind blowing. When therefore they had rowed about twenty-five or thirty stadia, they saw Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing near to the boat; and they were afraid. But he said to them, "I AM. Don't be afraid." They were willing therefore to receive him into the boat. Immediately the boat was at the land where they were going.
On the next day, the multitude that stood on the other side of the sea saw that there was no other boat there, except the one in which his disciples had embarked, and that Jesus hadn't entered with his disciples into the boat, but his disciples had gone away alone. However boats from Tiberias came near to the place where they ate the bread after the Lord had given thanks. When the multitude therefore saw that Jesus wasn't there, nor his disciples, they themselves got into the boats, and came to Capernaum, seeking Jesus.
