The Levi man comes to mind. Probably there are other. On second thoughts he was sick but did not hate Jesus he needed help and lived to others teachings and principles. An obviously striking example is the crucifixion and all that preceded it. In particular the mocking and denial. In the face of all that hatred in exchange of all the good and healing he brought to so many they condemned him - even Pilatus was open to realease him ''for even...them'' but the people put their thumbs down. And He gave himself for them - perdonali perch?? non sanno quello che dicono ''forgive give them cause they don`t know what they are saying''. Can you think of examples where Jesus modeled this radical teaching?
He is the example to us. He had no precedent, He knew the human heart and condition. When you start doing HIS teachings, is the time in which you realize, that to be alive is all about these radical teachings. ALELUYA!!! ALELUYA!!!! Yes, when Jesus was turned over to the Pharisees by Judas. Where he was beaten, whipped and mocked all before going to the cross and die for us sinners. Thank God he practiced what he preached and forgave all of us who believe in him. Praise God! By: Al Benavides - October 06, 2007 - Public Category: Love for Enemies

Before Jesus was nailed on to the cross He was tortured but He forgave them above all He asked the Father to forgive them. This is what Jesus modeled what He tought. By: Allen Yong - October 06, 2007 - Public Category: Love for Enemies

When Jesus was at the point of death on the cross, yet He continued to pray for them. He even asked God to forgive them for they don't what they are doing.

Your Enemies put down
We all have enemies and sometimes thay can take away what you have. When this happens pray for them for thay might need it more then you. If you enemies strikes your cheek turn the other, and then pray for them. Sinners need love also so do for them and ask nothing back. The day will come when we will be reward in Heaven for what we do for the ones who heat us. For we are the children of the MOst High. Thank God for His love URL: http://www.jeusucenteral/19240 By: Robert Grinstead - January 02, 2008 - Public Category: Love for Enemies

If a person would take your life ? Would you want that person put to to death?
Yes. He loves everyone. Even the sinners and those who dont believe. He loves us all. Whatever we do. He is there and he loves us. By: Jenn - January 31, 2008 - Public Category: Love for Enemies
"But I tell you who hear:
love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and
pray for those who mistreat you. To him who strikes you on the
cheek, offer also the other; and from him who takes away your cloak, don't
withhold your coat also. Give to everyone who asks you,
and don't ask him who takes away your goods to give them back again.
"As you would like people to
do to you, do exactly so to them. If you love those who love you,
what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them.
If you do good to those
who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the
same. If you lend to
those from whom you hope to receive, what credit is that to you? Even
sinners lend to sinners, to receive back as much. But love your enemies, and do
good, and lend, expecting nothing back; and your reward will be great, and
you will be children of the Most High; for he is kind toward the
unthankful and evil.
