Why Jesus sends the cured man away.
I think Jesus wants to teach us that when we are `cured` of our disease ''SIN'' then we should go out and tell others about Jesus, so that they may Know his great mercy, compassion, and forgiveness, so that we expand his Kingdom. I also learn that when I help someone, they do not have to feel indebted to me, for gratitude, or to pay back the favour. But many times we are tempted to make others feel that they owe us, for any help we gave them-Please Lord Jesus, teach us to be like you, to refuse to take the glory that belongs to your father alone! sorry for the many times we have made people feel that they owe us as their benefactors.

What does Jesus want to teach us when he does not allow the man he cures to follow/come with him?Does it mean that he wants us to know him,be freed of our infirmities, and go our way to testify to others about his great salvation?

Why did the people ask Jesus to leave their region after they heard about the pigs?
The people told Jesus to leave their region because his presence there meant their loss of property, wealth, means of employment e.t.c.they valued their earthly possession than the restoration of one man who had been tormented for a very long time. This indicates to me how insensitive to the needs of others we are, and how we are generally governed by our own selfish gains. We do not want Jesus to `interfere` in our `orderly` lives.God forgive us!

Why did the people ask Jesus to leave their region after they heard about the pigs?
They were afraid of touching Jesus. They had heard about the authority of Jesus. Now they were face to face with him who had already healed a madman of extreme strength they knew only too well. Besides, those who witnessed this episode were publicly attesting to the fact. The people of Gadara were simply too scared to host Jesus, whom they feared might deal with more of their demons, after seeing 2000 pigs drowned. The request to leave gadara, was a polite way of keeping out of suspected trouble, and Jesus also obeyed, to save them further embarashment.

Why did the people ask Jesus to leave their region after they heard about the pigs?
When the people heard about the pigs they asked Jesus to leave the region, because they saw the power he had that even so many demons listened to him and they wondered if He was from God or Satan

Why did the people ask Jesus to leave their region after they heard about the pigs?
Scared by his powers they think that they are demonic. Only demons can command demons they wrongly think. That verse, i will give you the power to pich snakes unharmed etc etc. That is something only God can do. Demons cannot trap him. Jesus challenges upfront and with calm authority ''exorcism'' in the name of the Father the unclean spirit. Was it written anywhere in the OT and should have people known? this is my Q to the editors. Thanks :''

Why did the people ask Jesus to leave their region after they heard about the pigs?
Hello dear friends, these people had good reasons to ask Jesus to leave their land. May be some thought that he will now send demons to their goats and also get drowned into the sea and some thought that even swimming in the sea is nolonger going to be there since it`s now full demons that were cast in through pigs.Others just feared the kind of a person who can do such a miracle they had never seen.So the whole issue is frightenning to human kind and being the fact that these people by then had no holyspirit to open their eyes, the had to stop him from entering their land.

Why did the people ask Jesus to leave their region after they heard about the pigs?
Whenyou do not know Jesus, you may acted likewise. But this is the acts of the hypocrise that is a non believer who prefare lossing spiritual things than physical things. For this people thought that money and wealth is the only reason we `ve come here on earth without knowing that Solomon called them VANITY things.

The Healing of a Demon-possessed Man

They came to the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes. When he had come out of the boat, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, who had his dwelling in the tombs. Nobody could bind him any more, not even with chains, because he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been torn apart by him, and the fetters broken in pieces. Nobody had the strength to tame him. Always, night and day, in the tombs and in the mountains, he was crying out, and cutting himself with stones. When he saw Jesus from afar, he ran and bowed down to him, and crying out with a loud voice, he said, "What have I to do with you, Jesus, you Son of the Most High God? I adjure you by God, don't torment me." For he said to him, "Come out of the man, you unclean spirit!"
He asked him, "What is your name?"
He said to him, "My name is Legion, for we are many." He begged him much that he would not send them away out of the country. Now there was on the mountainside a great herd of pigs feeding. All the demons begged him, saying, "Send us into the pigs, that we may enter into them."
At once Jesus gave them permission. The unclean spirits came out and entered into the pigs. The herd of about two thousand rushed down the steep bank into the sea, and they were drowned in the sea. Those who fed them fled, and told it in the city and in the country.
The people came to see what it was that had happened. They came to Jesus, and saw him who had been possessed by demons sitting, clothed, and in his right mind, even him who had the legion; and they were afraid. Those who saw it declared to them how it happened to him who was possessed by demons, and about the pigs. They began to beg him to depart from their region.
As he was entering into the boat, he who had been possessed by demons begged him that he might be with him. He didn't allow him, but said to him, "Go to your house, to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how he had mercy on you."
He went his way, and began to proclaim in Decapolis how Jesus had done great things for him, and everyone marveled.
