What did the Pharisees say against the Holy Spirit and why was it such a serious offense?
It`s a very gross mistake that they make. God can only do good. Jesus is casting out demons not chaining the people. They are the blind the intentionally so - there is no wores deaf than the one who does not want to see - i mean those acts they can only come from God and they say that He is Beelzebuub. Why did they refuse to aknowledge Jesus? because they were mixing with the power and they were more afraid of losing their high and i suppose safe status in society? they believed too much in earthly political and armies power, to see the true Power of the Holy Spirit in action right in front of their eyes.

What did the Pharisees say against the Holy Spirit and why was it such a serious offense?

The Pharisees could not tell the difference between the works of the Holy Spirit and the works of evil spirits, when Jesus cast out demons. Jesus also explain to them that Satan could not cast out Satan from a person. (evil casting out evil). It takes a more powerful souce, the Holy Spirit, to remove such demonic things.

The Pharisees said "This man does not cast out demons, except by Beelzebub, the prince of the demons." Its a serious offence because Jesus said
"I by the Spirit of God cast out demons" this blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men in this life and the next so its a serious offence.

What did the Pharisees say against the Holy Spirit and why was it such a serious offense?
The jealousy pharisees know they cant cast Demons like Jesus did therefore they saying Jesus do it by asking Help from Prince of Demons, Beelzebul. By saying that, they disgrace and humiliate Holy Spirit, Spirit of Father Himself. That was unforgiven sin according to Word of God.

What did the Pharisees say against the Holy Spirit and why was it such a serious offense?
Jesus healed blind and mute one by a demon through the tremendous and amazing power of God.The pharisees could not understand why Jesus casted out demons because of their proudness and mistrust. In fact Jesus by the Spirit of God casted out demons. The Pharisees insist that Spirit of God is BeelZebul, the prince of the demons. This their insist is the blasphemy against the Spirit.Of course This blasphemy is the same against God,making light of Jesus`Father Himself. But rebellion against Jesus ,every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven by his atonement.

What did the Pharisees say against the Holy Spirit and why was it such a serious offense?
They didnt know that he cast out the spirits bye god. They thought he cast them out bye beelzebul. That would be an offense towars God. If you are evil you will do evil things. You are good than you will do good things. Jesus was tryin to do a good thing. But they thought he was doing a bad thing through someone bad.

What did the Pharisees say against the Holy Spirit and why was it such a serious offense?
The Pharisees said that Jesus cast out demons with the help of Beelzebul, the prince of the demons.        It was such a serious offense because they assume that Beelzebul has done all the good actions instead of the Holy Spirit. It was a blasphemy against the Holy Spirit so it was against God and it will never be forgiven.

    Jesus and Beelzebub

Then one possessed by a demon, blind and mute, was brought to him and he healed him, so that the blind and mute man both spoke and saw. All the multitudes were amazed, and said, "Can this be the son of David?" But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, "This man does not cast out demons, except by Beelzebul, the prince of the demons."
Knowing their thoughts, Jesus said to them, "Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand. If Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand? If I by Beelzebul cast out demons, by whom do your children cast them out? Therefore they will be your judges. But if I by the Spirit of God cast out demons, then the Kingdom of God has come upon you. Or how can one enter into the house of the strong man, and plunder his goods, unless he first bind the strong man? Then he will plunder his house.
"He who is not with me is against me, and he who doesn't gather with me, scatters. Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men. Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, neither in this age, nor in that which is to come.
"Either make the tree good, and its fruit good, or make the tree corrupt, and its fruit corrupt; for the tree is known by its fruit. You offspring of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. The good man out of his good treasure brings out good things, and the evil man out of his evil treasure brings out evil things. I tell you that every idle word that men speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned."
