Jesus Walks on the Water

To find time for Prayer and meditation, even in the midst of tight schedules. There is also need to be alone ''isolated'' in the presence of God, as opposed to the crowd concept of praying together. Up the mountain signifies a higher level of intense prayer, and in this case, it was better to be alone, inorder to open up to God. This day was a great one in the life of Jesus` miracles, and only prayers could have kept him moving spiritually in the perfect will of God, otherwise who knows? since the multitude wanted to crown him king of Galillee? Prayers helped him not to boast about his great exploits.

What did you learn from His example.

That if Jesus being the Son of God has to draw His strength from Father God, then how do we, being mere flesh think we are going to accomplish any thing; or have the strength and wisdom we need with out first praying .

As the storms of life buffet and threaten harm.We can rest secure and safe, upheld by God’s strong arm. Even though the trial may not be what you’d will.You can trust the one who said:” quiet, peace, be still”. Though the waves seem deadly and you want to weep.Remember the dear Savior that walked upon the deep. As the winds of slander come howling to your ears.Knowing the Lord of Glory will quiet all your fears. When your home seems shaky and about to fall.Cleave to the rock of ages that anchor holds through all. God is our strong tower and our refuge dear.Those who trust upon him never need to fear. Jesus bids us walk with him upon the churning sea,Safe and secure above the storm in Christ’s security. Do not be distracted my brother and sister dear.Gaze upon Christ’s blessed face, and heed the words you hear. Then you’ll be above the strife upheld by the Spirit of Power.He will empower and walk in you, and keep you hour by hour.

Jesus Walks on the Water

Immediately he made his disciples get into the boat, and to go ahead to the other side, to Bethsaida, while he himself sent the multitude away. After he had taken leave of them, he went up the mountain to pray.
When evening had come, the boat was in the midst of the sea, and he was alone on the land. Seeing them distressed in rowing, for the wind was contrary to them, about the fourth watch of the night he came to them, walking on the sea, and he would have passed by them, but they, when they saw him walking on the sea, supposed that it was a ghost, and cried out; for they all saw him, and were troubled. But he immediately spoke with them, and said to them, "Cheer up! It is I! Don't be afraid." He got into the boat with them; and the wind ceased, and they were very amazed among themselves, and marveled; for they hadn't understood about the loaves, but their hearts were hardened.
When they had crossed over, they came to land at Gennesaret, and moored to the shore. When they had come out of the boat, immediately the people recognized him, and ran around that whole region, and began to bring those who were sick, on their mats, to where they heard he was. Wherever he entered, into villages, or into cities, or into the country, they laid the sick in the marketplaces, and begged him that they might touch just the fringe of his garment; and as many as touched him were made well.
