What type of soil best represents your life? Why?
I would say that my life started with anxiety and the deceptive power of riches choking out the word. Now the good soil is coming through, although it required that the soil be turned over. I am working that soil to bear love for all.

The one that has thorns. The reason being all the problems of life that one has to face and is battling with God's place in my life.   I had been through a lot and Im striving to attain that good soil.

What type of soil best represents your life? Why?
To be honest I'd say roadside. I'm going through a lot right now and it's hard to get a good foot hold when I can't even stand up without falling over and over and over again. But I know God has promised to not put me (or you) through more than I can handle. Some days, I feel like if one more straw is put on my load I'm going to break in a million pieces.  As long as I'm still breathing, I'll strive for the good soil.

What type of soil best represents your life? Why?

I believe that I am good soil because I have accepted Jesus Christ into my heart and read the bible on a regular basis and pray for wisdom and understanding of his word. It wasn't easy at first because I was tempted and failed many times but the Lord has helped me along the way. I believe that he watches over me and guides my life every day. I have been truly blessed in my life to know their is a God and he is my heavenly father who loves me like a child through his son Jesus! Jesus is my Lord and Savior! Amen!

What type of soil best represents your life? Why?

I think that I'm the seed that was sown on good ground. I've stumpled and fell, but have  gotten up. I've heard the word and understood it by seeking out the truth and trying my best to apply it to my life by being a Berean (Acts 17:11).

I've beared fruit by trying to practice the fruit of the spirit i.e., love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control; and by trying to enrich the lives of others with the word of God and by praying to be a living example of a righteous woman.

I'm no very sure because I'm a new christian just an infant learning to know the true and trying to crawl through the narrow gate. Once in while am thinking of giving up because of my sins. However, I'm still trying to reach my goal-the kingdom of heaven.

The Parable of the Sower

On that day Jesus went out of the house, and sat by the seaside. Great multitudes gathered to him, so that he entered into a boat, and sat, and all the multitude stood on the beach. He spoke to them many things in parables, saying, "Behold, a farmer went out to sow. As he sowed, some seeds fell by the roadside, and the birds came and devoured them. Others fell on rocky ground, where they didn't have much soil, and immediately they sprang up, because they had no depth of earth. When the sun had risen, they were scorched. Because they had no root, they withered away. Others fell among thorns. The thorns grew up and choked them: and others fell on good soil, and yielded fruit: some one hundred times as much, some sixty, and some thirty. He who has ears to hear, let him hear."
The disciples came, and said to him, "Why do you speak to them in parables?"
He answered them, "To you it is given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven, but it is not given to them. For whoever has, to him will be given, and he will have abundance, but whoever doesn't have, from him will be taken away even that which he has. Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they don't see, and hearing, they don't hear, neither do they understand. In them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says,
'By hearing you will hear,
and will in no way understand;
Seeing you will see,
and will in no way perceive:
for this people's heart has grown callous,
their ears are dull of hearing,
they have closed their eyes;
or else perhaps they might perceive with their eyes,
hear with their ears,
understand with their heart,
and should turn again;
and I would heal them.'
"But blessed are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear. For most certainly I tell you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see the things which you see, and didn't see them; and to hear the things which you hear, and didn't hear them.
"Hear, then, the parable of the farmer. When anyone hears the word of the Kingdom, and doesn't understand it, the evil one comes, and snatches away that which has been sown in his heart. This is what was sown by the roadside. What was sown on the rocky places, this is he who hears the word, and immediately with joy receives it; yet he has no root in himself, but endures for a while. When oppression or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles. What was sown among the thorns, this is he who hears the word, but the cares of this age and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful. What was sown on the good ground, this is he who hears the word, and understands it, who most certainly bears fruit, and brings forth, some one hundred times as much, some sixty, and some thirty."
