Why is it OK with God to pay the one who worked all day the same amount paid to the one who worked only an hour?
When God calls us and we accepted Him and repent, all our sins were forgiven, and the promise of eternal life is given also. It`s really up to us if we will obey God`s will and walk with Him until he comes.God is faithfull wether you accept Him today or tomorrow it`s just the same contract.

.I think God`s message is quite clear.....The vineyard is compared to heaven. The payment is compared to salvation. Some workers will start early in the day where as other will start when the work is almost done but they are both going to get the same payment although some has worked harder than others. He has promised us salvation as long as we do his will. Someone may spend all his life serving God where as someone else may find God towards the end of his life. God is going to give both the salvation he has promised. He is not going to give more to one and less to another. His desire is for all to recieve salvation and everyone will be treated equally once they have made the decision to serve God whether it is for a day or a lifetime. The bottom line is to find God in our lives......so a man who is always good should not look down on someone who was a sinner but has repented because in the eyes of God both of them will be seen as equal and will recieve equal rewards. What this means for us....well if we have not turned to Christ it is not too late...we can start now, this very minute and our rewards or payment will be the same as all those who are christians before us. And if we are really true christians we will all be happy that God is a GENEROUS GOD treats all christians equally.

I suppose this brings out the fact that God is impartial and, although some were first in their work, they themselves didn`t determine when they were born. The Kingdom doesn`t play favorites and rejoices with those last minute repenters.

Do you have enough love for the Lord to chose to stay all your life next to Him and bare all the inherent difficulties of the christian life, knowing that many will choose Him on their last hour of their life getting their salvation, same as you, and not

Why is it OK with God to pay the one who worked all day the same amount paid to the one who worked only an hour?
The first and the last worker were both ready for the Lord`s request, and served Him well, that`s what is the most important. They had the right attitude: availability! That was what the reward was for. And above all that, could a real Christian be envy on a man that was living without a purpose while he was living the joy and the assuredness in the very hands of God!!!

The Kingdom of God is like... He said. So in the Parable God is our lord and he has called us. He will choose us. We know now He all raedy did By Jesus sacrifice, and it dosen`t matter whether you know him know or later if you agree He is our savior the Kingdom of Heaven is equal to us all.

The Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard

"For the Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who was the master of a household, who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard. When he had agreed with the laborers for a denarius a day, he sent them into his vineyard. He went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace. To them he said, 'You also go into the vineyard, and whatever is right I will give you.' So they went their way. Again he went out about the sixth and the ninth hour, and did likewise. About the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle. He said to them, 'Why do you stand here all day idle?'
"They said to him, 'Because no one has hired us.'
"He said to them, 'You also go into the vineyard, and you will receive whatever is right.' When evening had come, the lord of the vineyard said to his manager, 'Call the laborers and pay them their wages, beginning from the last to the first.'
"When those who were hired at about the eleventh hour came, they each received a denarius. When the first came, they supposed that they would receive more; and they likewise each received a denarius. When they received it, they murmured against the master of the household, saying, 'These last have spent one hour, and you have made them equal to us, who have borne the burden of the day and the scorching heat!'
"But he answered one of them, 'Friend, I am doing you no wrong. Didn't you agree with me for a denarius? Take that which is yours, and go your way. It is my desire to give to this last just as much as to you. Isn't it lawful for me to do what I want to with what I own? Or is your eye evil, because I am good?' So the last will be first, and the first last. For many are called, but few are chosen."
