God chose Mary a descendant of David to give birth to Jesus. It was prophesied even before the existence of David The LOrd Jesus. So David know about the Lord Jesus all along.

This question is simple to those who can understand it. To, start with, before the creation Jesus was there.Jesus was and is that`s why David used the word my LORD. And the Bible David is one the highest phylophilist in the old tastement, he has the inspiration WHOM Christ is. That is why the bible declears if you can open yourself to God He will dwell in you and the Holy Spirit will inspired in you and show you the hidden things of God. Jere, 33:3, mind you David is only a King but he allowed God to use Him. Again David sees things of heaven like wise John did. God furfilled His promise to David by sending Jesus to emerged from David descendant.

its amazing that David knew the Lord God and Jesus as seperate personalities. To my limited knowledge, this revelation does not come but much later to man possibly to Daniel. David was the bloodline of the parents of Jesus - the WORD who became Flesh and dwelt among man. Jesus is called the Son of David based on the prophesies that were to be fulfilled by Jesus comin tru the bloodline of David.

he is in the same family line in the phisical. but Jesus is the son of God Jehova. who is Trinity '' the is God the father= Jehova. the is God the son = Jesus. the is God the holy spirit = holy spirit'' so Jesus is God that is why Moses calls him Lord.

Christ was born from the City of Bavid, ie, Bethlehem, into a family of David and descendants. Biologically both Joseph and Mary were descendants of David. Prophetically, The Christ would be a King of the order of David, who not only conquered all the jewish enemies, but set himself a capital of Jerusalem. David tore flesh from bears and lions with bare hand, and of course dont forget the great Goliath who was slain by David. The spirit of the Lord was on David, right from the annointing bySamuel. God revealed Himself to David in mysterious ways, so the divine revelation of Jesus, many generations before his appearance, was the direct stimuli of the Holy Spirit. The Lordship of God the Father, the son, and the Holy spirit, were already at full play in David.

As Jesus was born from the virgin Mary, he is biologically her son, but she still called Him Jesus, and knew that He was far greater than just her Son - so too is Jesus a descendant of David.

Christ is descended from David courtesy of Joseph who was betrothed to Mary the mother of Jesus. And he calls Him Lord cause that`s really what He is, He only came on earth in form of man - Emmanuel `God wth us` thank you

Now while the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them a question, saying, "What do you think of the Christ? Whose son is he?"
They said to him, "Of David."
He said to them, "How then does David in the Spirit call him Lord, saying,
'The Lord said to my Lord,
sit on my right hand,
until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet?'
"If then David calls him Lord, how is he his son?"
No one was able to answer him a word, neither did any man dare ask him any more questions from that day forth.
