It was already spoken by prophet Isaiah that Jesus'  coming to Galilee is like light coming to the darkness. It is said that light has come because Jesus began to preach about the Kingdom of God and Salvation also about repentace.

Jesus is like light coming into a dark place because He came teaching through parables & miracles, all these are like light because it opens our eyes to the truth & our sinfulness. He shows us the way by word, truth & example and we follow like children of darkness seeking a light.

How is Jesus coming into Galilee like light coming into a dark place? What is there about Jesus teaching that is like light?
Jesus coming into Galilee is like light coming into a dark place because Jesus is light, life and the way that lead us to God the Father. The cross bridges us to God, and His blood clean us white as snow. Jesus gives us hope, the hope that bring us eternity.

How is Jesus coming into Galilee like light coming into a dark place? What is there about Jesus teaching that is like light?
Jesus came speaking the word of God, exposing sin, revealing the way to God,and speaking of kingdom truths - just as a light exposes all that which is hidden in the darkness, showing things as they really are. Also just as light from the sun causes growth and life in plants, so too does the Word of God give growth and life to our souls. Light also has a bleaching effect by disinfecting, so too does Jesus in our lives, where theres is evil, sin and decay. Where there is light there is also warmth - with Jesus in our hearts, there is love and warmth.

Jesus is the light

Jesus came to Galilee to continue what Isaiah had started. There were the gentiles who were lost in darkness and Jesus opened their hearts and gave them spiritual wisdom that gave them light. You see to be left in darkness you cannot find your way. You have no sense of direction and you need someone to guide you. Thank God for Jesus who was that light to guide the blind and to show the way.

How is Jesus coming into Galilee like light coming into a dark place? What is there about Jesus teaching that is like light?

When we are unaware of something - we're in the dark.  When Jesus came into Galilee he brought the light; ie, truth and knowledge. He brought the love of God with him to inspire all those that heard him. He taught with confidence.  His teaching is like light because it wakes us with understanding. It convinces us that God's love is real.

(Isaiah 60:1) Arise, shine, for your light has come and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.

Jesus Begins to Preach

Now when Jesus heard that John was delivered up, he withdrew into Galilee. Leaving Nazareth, he came and lived in Capernaum, which is by the sea, in the region of Zebulun and Naphtali, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying,
"The land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali,
toward the sea, beyond the Jordan,
Galilee of the Gentiles,
the people who sat in darkness saw a great light,
to those who sat in the region and shadow of death,
to them light has dawned."
From that time, Jesus began to preach, and to say, "Repent! For the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand."
