What is so much, Jesus invested in all of us equally. Denial was confirmation that we all need help, to get past the fear of death and suffering, faced with so much interaction with Jesus, Peter still followed the course of events Jesus knew he would, what would I do?

Peter rock of the Church. Jesus makes Peter conscious of his human nature, therefore inclined by nature to sin. This makes Peter doubt of himself for the rest of his life. Peter ever conscious of his personal weakness worked harder to follow the path of humility, faith and self given exemplified by Jesus.
