I honestly belive that what ever the sign or miricale one desires there must be a degree of belief and faith to desire such a sign in the Fist place

because there are those that doubt and without a sign or something amazing for their eyes to see that can't believe it. but if you have faith and believe that JESUS was born from the virgin mary died on a cross hung there from the sisth to the ninth hour and rose on the third day with all power what else do you need. just look all around at the world we live in you know that it was a power BEING to do such and awsome thing. look at the moon, stars, oceans ect. all power and glory be to GOD.

Nature vs. Nurture. We are all created with the innate nature to serve a higher power. Even the staunchest unbelievers tend to cry out for Him when the going gets tough. It is our nurture (life experiences) that causes us to doubt and require signs and wonders. Before most of us reach age 10 we find out that Santa, the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy are not real. We are told, "If it sounds to good to be true than it probably is." Why should we expect people to just believe?
