The Roman Centurion came to Jesus asking Him to heal his sick, paralyzed servant. What is unusual about this Roman Centurion is that he understood the power and authority of Jesus Word. He knew that when he spoke (the Centurion), he men under his command obeyed. His word had power. Likewise, he understood that Jesus` Word had incredible power. The power to heal and deliver. Thus, he asked Jesus just to speak the Word, knowing that this would be sufficient to heal his servant and that he (the Centurion) was too unworthy for Jesus to visit his home. The Centurion later discovered that his servant was healed at the exact hour Jesus spoke the Word.
