Just want to say hi to everyone as I haven`t checked in for a while.
I`m not sharing my thoughts just now but am praying that everyone finds they`re growing closer to Jesus through this course. I know I am!
So while I`m not finding the time to directly comment on what I`m learning, I am still learning. All the time. Thank you Jesus, my teacher and friend.

Jesus, that time is really a man flesh and blood, he substituted himself to save us from our sins. Jesus being God became man to serve us, to redeem us. John 3:16.... I thank God for loving us even though we are sinners... He is so faithful ...He won`t let us go deeper into our sins.... Thank you Jesus for saving me and giving me eternal life... I love you! Was Jesus trying to incite his death (eg. temple cleansing, accusation of leaders?)
Jesus knew that his actions would incite ''encourage'' the Jewish leaders kill him. He also knew that through these actions and his trial/execution his followers would learn much about how we are to live and how much God loves us. God wanted Jesus killed at Passover to show that Jesus is the ultimate Passover lamb. There will be no need to shed an animal`s blood each year for the forgiveness of sins as the Jewish people had been doing. Jesus` one time shedding of blood takes care of the forgivenss of sins of all who follow Him. God wanted Jesus killed at this Passover . . not the month following Passover or at next year`s Passover.
