One cannot say that he knows Jesus if he does not obey him. When Jesus was informed that his mother and siblings were looking for him, He asked "who is my mother and bother,......you who obey my words and keep it".

Its very simple. Even in our earthly life, we cant say we are close to our mother or father except if we truely obey them. Jesus said, whoever will enter into my kingdom will be like one of these childre. This is because children carry out instructions more willingly than we adults.

I dont think its really a new commandment. This is because in the old testament, the children of Isreal would have been close to God if they had obeyed him.

the old man passed away who is pattened after Adamand is bent toward sin,while the new man is pattened after Christ and can never sin Adam was earhtly made but Jesus came from Heaven.

when he came (Jesus)would not continue with the old things but he came to put a litle bit order in what others though was confusion in their belief,such as Jwish leaders.

os Jesus says love one another as a new commandment,he(Jesus)just simplifie from  the old one into two only but in this two all is included,him as a God wash the feet of all disciples what a wonderful example to follow as christians,he lowered himself at a certain point that even these rich men can not do to people or their relative to show them love.in this world somebody must do something bigger than washing the feet to fiful this commandment love one another.because of love of money other people kill others for their profit the powerful countries how do treatment to vulnerable people in poor countries so its awful to difficult to love.

one who is in Christ who died for us those who live should not live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again and who is in Christ is a new creature as a photo copy of Christ our Lord.

one who has no love is like a cymbal that makes noise without meaning.

It is really a new commandment. Recall that in the time of Moses, they were operating with the rule of an eye for an eye. Even our Lord Jesus noticed that slavery was the order of the day, there were classes with those on top lording it over the others.

The rule Jesus is giving them will change all these. It will change "an eye for an eye" to "when they hit you on one cheek turn the other". It will also change the rule of master-servant relationship, you now have to serve to be called a leader. What a rule! What a change! A 360 degrees change.

He says "love your enemies". How can they love their enemies when they dont even love those who are not their enemies. It is a terrific rule and a brand new one.

I feel loved, strengthened, comforted and powerful when I hear Jesus`words.

Jesus works are full of compassion which many people in those days and even now do not really understand.

Many of us are selfish. We only look out for our own. Some people in those time were selfish and thought only of the Pigs they lost not the people that were healed. Others were just afraid of what will happen when they get near Jesus. They want to remain as they were.

The Bible says they have eyes but cannot see. Jesus uses parables because the things of heaven cannot be assimilated with earthly mind. you have to be in the spirit to understand it.

Jesus says "..........its like a treasure hidden in a field". Its not everyone that can find it. Only those who search diligently.

Jesus words have different effects on me. Many atimes they act as balm to my soul. They give me confidence and power to forge ahead, even though the road might be rough there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Sometimes they admonish me. They serve as corrective measures and put me back on track. They also remind me of the wonderful love my Father has for me. Atimes it urges me to continue in the race reminding me of the crown meant for every winner.

The words have different effects at different times. But all in all, they are light upon my feet

First, what is forgiveness? It means to pardon, exempt the guilty from punishment, cancel obligation, excuse somebody from something impolite etc. Being guilty weighs us down, it disturbs ones' mind as you keep thinking of your punishment. Take for instance when you fail in school, you cant stop thinking all the way back home what your earthly father will do to you. Different punishments come to your mind, some more difficult and fearful than the others. Imagine what happens when your daddy comes back home and instead of punishing you just carries you on his lap telling you that everything will be ok. Imagine the love you will forever have for your dad.

this is just our earthly father. Our heavenly father does more than this. The sins we commit against our heavenly father are more grievous. But at each turn, He waits for us to turn so he can hug us and welcome us back home. He doesnt count how big our sin is, or how numerous. He loves us all alike.

Knowing we are sinners and do not deserve to be forgiven, yet we are forgiven increases the love we have for God. It makes us to love him more because no earthly father can forgive like him.
