Hardness of Heart
We must love God and love our spouses. If your heart is filled with love, then you will repsond to others in lover. We must pray to the Lord to keep our hearts and minds in the love of God. If we pray with our spouse to god, he will answer and help us with our problems. We are all different people shaped by our life experiences and sometimes experiences create different to people. The way to stay together is to both communicate openly to God so God can show us our true selves. There must be open talk and communication. If we stay angry we close off communication and the result is not a Christian walk. God is the key.

Why did Jesus? penalty for sin need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God?
This may be a question we can never truly answer. However, the bible speaks of blood sacrifices. I believe this was necessary to remove our curses from sin. Emotional pain comes from our necessity for faith. Jesus taught us to believe in him. We are forgiven, but we still sin and suffer. Jesus did this to save us and to show us the correct way to live.

Jesus Death
Jesus had no need to incite his death. He knew that the Father had ordained for him to die on the cross. He knew it was going to happen no matter what he did. He was teaching us to help us understand what is right and wrong in the eyes of God.

Purpose
Jesus came to save mankind and to tell people about the good news of the kingdom of God. I think he accomplished all that he set out to do. I do wonder if he thought that he could have brought more people to the Lord.

If you had a one-on-one meal with Jesus, what would you discuss?
I would ask him to fill me with the Holy Spirit and thank him for dying on the cross and forgiving me for my sins. I would ask him to connect me to the Father so I could live in the will of Jesus and the Father at all times.
