Why were the religious leaders so upset that Jesus would heal on the Sabbath (religious day off)?

because they reasoned that sabbath was entirely for the lord and not for man, which is a misinterpretation and misunderstanding of the scripture...for it is the very word of God which says that helping those in need is a form of worship to God (Proverbs). thank you!!!

How is Jesus` way fresh or new compared to old religious practice or tradition?

i think there isn't that much difference between the old practice..but i would say that Jesus revealed the true meaning and way of any religious practice, that way which people ahd diverted from - he had to restore that. thank you!!

What do you learn about Jesus, asking one of the most disliked men in town to become his follower?

i learn that he came for the sinners, to restore them into the kingdom of God, fror as he answered them that it is the sick who need a doctor, it is the hungry who need to eat or be fed...thank you!
