In what ways did Jesus serve when He was on earth? In what ways is He still serving now? Jesus, since he was very young served:we are told that when the parents sought him and found him in the temple after 3 days, he was sitting in the midst of doctors''teachers'' both hearing them and asking them questions.When asked, he asks his parents:How is it that you sought me?Knew you not that I must be about My father`s business? ''Lk. 2:48-49''-He taught the word in the Temple, healed the sick, Set captives ''like the Samaritan woman and the woman `caught in the very act` '' free, raised the dead, and taught the people how to live in obedience to God.He also served his disciples by washing their feet before his death.
During Jesus` life, he was always taking time to pray to his Heavenly Father, and before he left for heaven we find him praying for his disciples in John 17.Today, Jesus is is still serving through his intersession to the father, for the world. Moreover, through the Holy Spirit, the 3rd person of the trinity''Whom he sent'' he still teaches his people, heals the sick, convicts humanity of sin, and works to restore the people`s relationship with the Father.
