Given the scandals associated with the women Tamar, Rahab, Ruth and the wife of Uriah (Bathsheba), why do you think they were mentioned in the geneology of Jesus? Because they all related to King David and David was the son of Jesse and Jesuss is the root from Jesse father of David.
