Why did Jesus tell the man to take up the mat and walk, even though Jesus knew this violated what the Jews permitted on the Sabbath? Because Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath; beside, He says that whatever is right is allow to be done on that day.

Why do some people need signs and wonders to believe in Jesus, and others do not? Others need signs as the inner self is still doubtful and they need that sign to confirm for themselves. Others have faith and don't need signs.
