For they thought they were holy Judas was one of the 12 men closest to Jesus. Why would Judas betray Jesus? Judas would betray Jesus because it was in God's plan that Jesus would die for us to reconcile with Him. Amen.

Why do you think the priests, scribes, elders did not answer Jesus? Because they were hypocrites. They fully well knew that the baptist of John was from heaven as John was a prophet. But that answer would have exposed them and there hyprocrisy.
