I ask not for riches or fame, instead I ask for peace and serenity. Jesus is the still quiet vioce in my head that directs me from right and wrong. It wasn't always that way, in my early years I hated God and Jesus and everything they stood for. After running out of options, i turned my will and life over to a power greater than myself. That power turned out to be Jesus. When I am in a negative state, such as impatient or intolerant, I ask jesus for the strength and courage to relieve of these negative emotions, just for today. All is right with Jesus.

WHAT I KNOW TODAY I have known about Jesus throughout my life but he has only entered my life recently. I do not know yet if I am a true follower of Jesus or what exactly is a true follower but I am seeking answers. I do know he is our Saviour and that I want him truly to be in my life. I believe that he performed many miracles and I try to practice his teachings of love and respect. There is still many doubts and questions and Satan is playing havoc with my mind, it is a battle at times but knowing that he is our savior he will not let me go. Jesus came to earth to die for us, to deliver us from our sins and he rose again. I will always believe this but my biggest question is am I good enough, I am still working through questions and my doubts. I have changed many things in my life to follow Jesus and have no regrets.

What "division" did Jesus intend to bring between people? Jesus intended to separate the godly and the ungodly. The godly ones would enter the heavenly kingdom and the ungodly ones would be cast into the fiery lake.
