Jesus demonstrated his authority through His teaching at the synagogue on the Sabbath day. Jesus demonstrated his authority through actions commanding demons to leave the possessed and by demanding their obedience (He told the demon to be silent). How does Jesus react to people to tell him to go away? People told Jesus to go away He just went because He felt that people there didn't want Him for they were afraid and they didn't know God.
