How does Simon Peter feel about himself, and how does Jesus change that?

Simon Peter feels that he is not worthy to be with Jesus because he is a sinful man. Jesus changes that by showing the greatest confidence in Peter, and stating that from now on he will be a fisher of men.

Why didn`t Jesus spend more time healing people?

Jesus didn't spend more time healing people because He said "I must preach the good news of the Kingdom of God to the other cities also. For this reason I have been sent."

Define "Salvation" ? Note how Zachariah (the father of John the Baptist) praises God for fulfilling an old promise (oath/covenant) that "we...should serve him (God) without fear, In holiness and righteousness before him all the days of our life."

Salvation: deliverance from God's judgment of sin. Our sin has seperated us from God. Salvation is deliverance from the consequence of sin (death).
