Since Luke was researching for a high government official, "Most Excellent Theophilis", how many eyewitnesses (and who) do you think Luke interviewed before writing his report? I think that if I were researching for a high government official, I know that I would interview a lot of people. Luke probably interviewed Jesus' disciples, Jesus' other followers (like Mary Magdalene) and early Christians (including Paul).
