3961 entries for this category: Because if you don't beleive you don't have faith and may doubt God. Forgiving is necessary because we are not human and we make mistakes all the time. If we require God to forgive our sins then so should we of sins committed against us. Why did Jesus answer their question with a question? Why didn`t he just say that his authority came from God? Jesus knew that they did not believe Him even if He answer them His authority was from heaven so He fought question with question. They were just heart-harded didn't want to believe Jesus is the Son of God.

Jesus knew he would be killed in Jerusalem, and still he led the way. What characteristics does Jesus demonstrate here? Jesus demonstrates trust in God and a willingness to follow His plans - even if part of that plan is physical death.
