Jesus emphasizes the phrase "in my name" when refering to the miracle and giving a cup of water. What does it mean to do something in Jesus` name? That means the followers of Christ our Lord.

How does Jesus define greatness, and is caring for a little child an example of greatness? A little child is helpless and thus needs protection, teaching, guidance etc. Jesus states that if you take a helpless person (little child) and gives them what they need in Jesus' name you would receive Jesus, and by receiving Jesus you would receive God the Father.
