After Jesus calmed the storm, they were afraid of Jesus because they realized that Jesus was no ordinary teacher and that even the storm would obey Him. Faith allowed power to flow from Jesus even without his initiative. What is faith? Faith is beleif, confidence, surety that something is true without having any proof.

Why did the people ask Jesus to leave their region after they heard about the pigs? Because they were afraid of Him. He cast out demons, talked to the demons, and as a result of this their pigs died.
