Why was the woman`s act so pleasing to Jesus? The woman's act was so pleasing to Jesus because it was the best ointmen she had and she was doing this for His burial and what she did, as Jesus said, would also be spoken of as a memorial of her.

Since Jesus knew that He was to be crucified, why did He not just avoid trouble by leaving town? For this is the Father's plan and the prophecy has to be fulfilled and is the purpose of Jesus on earth to be crucified for the world to save the world.
